RESIDENTIAL AREA SET TO DOUBLE IN SIZE
Demirbetonönümleri, a precast concrete enterprise, will start the second phase of the residential area development in Ashgabat’s Byuzmein etrap. This year, fifteen 32-unit apartment buildings will be constructed from prefabricated wall panels on Senagat Street.
Panel house-building is a top trend in the national redevelopment program. Precast panel houses now under construction in Byuzmein etrap are technologically advanced buildings that meet all modern safety and energy-efficiency requirements.
Renovation to precast plants for production of large-sized wall panels has marked a change in attitude towards industrial-scale construction. Advancements in construction technology have helped to achieve greater efficiency and productivity. Specialists of the enterprise have significantly enhanced the quality and boosted the production of precast concrete products, used to build large-panel high-rise residential buildings in the capital and administrative centers of the regions.
In particular, last year alone, twenty large-panel buildings were built in Byuzmein etrap. 640 families moved into comfortable, large two- and three-room apartments with well-planned living space. Seven four-story apartment buildings with a total of 224 units were built and moved into on Akhal Street.
The residential neighborhood in Byuzmein etrap is being developed using the integrated construction scheme. Areas adjacent to the buildings are well maintained and well designed for outdoor recreational activities of residents, and boast sports grounds, playgrounds, and visitor parking spaces. The neighborhood has a comprehensive school. A 160-seat kindergarten will be built as part of the second phase.
The construction of apartment buildings in Byuzmein etrap is set to go beyond the second phase. A decision has been made to expand the residential area and build thirteen more apartment houses. Thus, this year there will be twice as many new homes as last year. Residential housing is being constructed in Ashgabat’s Byuzmein etrap against the order of departments of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Operations of Turkmenistan.
