Emirates Arabian Horse Society Delegation Visits Turkmenistan

On 5-6 August 2026, a delegation of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS) of the UAE, led by Director General Mohamed Ahmed Musleh Al Harbi, visited Ashgabat. The visit was organised with the support of the Embassy of the UAE in Ashgabat.

The delegation was received by Ahmed Berdiyev, Director General of the State Association «Türkmen atlary». The sides discussed joint projects in the field of horse breeding and the strengthening of ties between the leading centres for breeding Akhal-Teke and Arabian horses.

The delegation visited the State Museum of Turkmenistan and the Ashgabat Equestrian Sports Complex, where elite Akhal-Teke horses were presented. The head of the delegation highlighted the uniqueness of the Turkmen school of horse breeding and the importance of exchanging professional expertise.

In the city of Arkadag, the guests familiarised themselves with modern equestrian infrastructure, including the Aba Annaev International Academy of Horse Breeding and the Scientific and Production Centre. The delegation also met with the leadership of the «Galkynysh» equestrian group and watched a demonstration performance by its artists.
