Delegation of Turkmenistan attends the 15th AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates led the delegation of Turkmenistan at the 15th AIM Congress 2026, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 7 to 9 September 2026.

The delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan and the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Held under the theme «Reshaping Global Prosperity: Unlocking New Investment Pathways Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Future», the Congress brought together 25,000 participants from 191 countries and organisations, with 540 speakers across 103 sessions.

The Congress was opened by the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, with keynote addresses delivered by the Minister of Foreign Trade of the UAE and Chairman of the Congress and by the President of Ethiopia, Guest of Honour of this edition. Among the participants were the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Prime Minister of Uganda, the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence of the UAE, as well as the heads of leading regional business groups, including Emaar Properties, Lulu Group International and the Kanoo Group.

The delegation attended the opening ceremony and took part in thematic sessions of the programme, including the panel discussion on Central Asia organised with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, the ministerial roundtable on investment convened with the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies, and the sessions devoted to special economic zones and industrial policy.

The delegation also visited the accompanying exhibition and held a number of bilateral meetings with financial institutions, companies and investment promotion agencies expressing interest in cooperation with Turkmenistan.
