Priorities of the regions and capital development reviewed at video conference session

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a video conference working session with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers who are in charge of agricultural complex and hyakims of velayats and Ashgabat.

Current issues of social and economic development of the capital and regions including in the urban construction sphere, timely completion of seasonal agricultural works as well as preparation to coming holidays have been reviewed at the session.

First, the Head of the State called Hyakim of Ashgabat Ya. Gylyjov who reported on measures for further development of the capital, the situation at construction sites as well as on events timed to National Turkmen Horse Celebration and preparation to the summer season.

Speaking of the necessity to hold modernization of infrastructure of Ashgabat under permanent control, the President of Turkmenistan highlighted importance of integrated works including construction of new facilities, development of etraps, streets and park zones paying special attention to aesthetic and ecological components.

Speaking of the subject of coming summer season, the Head of the State gave instructions related to repair of relative facilities, having ordered to provide timely fulfilment of all works.

Having noted that events in honor of glorious ahalteke horses, which are the national pride of our people, are widely held in Turkmenistan at the end of April, the Head of the State addressed the Hyakim of Ashgabat with a number of assignments for provision of a high organizational level of celebration activities.

Further, Hyakim of Ahal Velayat Ya. Gurbanov reported on work in the region, in particular on sowing of cotton, use of agricultural equipment and vehicles, provision of farmers with high-quality seeds.

It was informed that care of winter crops is carried out, measures for receiving of generous yields of vegetable and cucurbitaceous crops, potato and others are also taken.

Having focused on the objectives of an agricultural complex of the velayat, the President highlighted the importance of quality completion of the cotton sowing and all seasonal agricultural activities.

Having expressed interest in the course of the sowing campaign in the region, the Head of the State noted that rates of the campaign are slow in some etraps. Having highlighted the necessity of enforcement of works in this direction, the President gave relative instructions to the Hyakim.

The President directed to carry out agricultural work for receiving good production of wheat as well as to provide readiness of harvesters, transport, warehouses, and elevators on time.

Having requested to provide control of realization of National rural program, construction of various facilities, solution of objectives for the improvement of social and living conditions of the population, the Head of the State gave assignments on preparation to the National Turkmen Horse Celebration to the head of administration of Ahal Velayat.

Further, the President called Hyakim of Balkan Velayat T. Atahalliyev who reported on the situation in the coastal region, agricultural works for organized sowing of cotton, care of winter crops, preparation of land, specialized equipment and tools to the responsible agricultural campaign.

At the same time, the Hakim reported on work in the region for the care of agricultural crops, construction of facilities planned to be opened on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the neutral status of the country as well as on preparation to National Turkmen Horse Holiday.

Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed interest in sowing of cotton, having ordered the Hyakim to approach organized and quality campaigns with full responsibility.

Having noted that response time has started for the farmers, the Head of the State ordered to provide the readiness of equipment, which has to be used in full volume during the sowing campaign, as well as to provide farmers with quality seeding materials.

In addition, it was directed to provide proper care of the wheat and another agricultural complex.

The importance of monitoring of facilities under construction in the region works on which has to be carried out in strict compliance with a set schedule, on the quality level and using eco-friendly materials has been noted.

Having asked about the program of events dedicated to the National Turkmen Horse Holiday, the President gave assignments for the provision of a high level of planned cultural events to the Head of the regional administration.

After, Hakim of Dashoguz Velayat N. Nazarmyradov reported on seasonal agricultural works, the fulfilment of assignments, measures for the sowing of cotton, care of winter crops.

The Head of regional administration has also informed about the situation at the facilities planned to be opened on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of neutrality of the country and events timed to National Turkmen Horse Celebration.

Having focused on the subjects of organized seasonal works, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov ordered to accelerate the rates of sowing campaign, to hold under control readiness to wheat harvest campaign, production of potato and other agricultural crops.

The Head of the State has also addressed the Head of administration with assignments on proper organization of events in honor legendary ‘sky’ horses and horse breeding masters.

After, the President of Turkmenistan called Hyakim of Lebap Velayat Sh. Amangeldiyev who reported on seasonal works expanded in agricultural fields of the region.

At the same time, Hakim informed about the situation on big construction sites of the velayat and cultural program of the National Turkmen Horse Holiday, which is widely observed in the country.

Having listened to the report, the President highlighted the importance of the successful solutions to objectives of the National rural program as well as the integrated development of the velayat.

Having focused on the sowing of cotton, the Head of the State addressed the Hyakim with assignments for making proper conditions for the timely and organized conduct of the campaign.

The President of the country addressed the Hyakim with the number of assignments for preparation to wheat harvest and ordered to adhere to timely completion of all agricultural activities.

The Head of regional administration was requested to hold events dedicated to National Turkmen Horse Holiday on a high level.

After, the President called Hyakim of Mary Velayat D. Annaberdiyev who reported on work in the agricultural fields of the region. Coming Events on the occasion of the National Turkmen Horse Holiday were separate subjects of the report.

In addition, the Hakim reported on course of works at the facilities under construction in the region, measures for provision of high quality and timely completion of the facilities on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the neutral status of Turkmenistan.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov ordered the Hyakim to hold under permanent control the course of the cotton sowing and care of winter crops, potato, and other agricultural crops.

The President also ordered to adhere to the schedule and quality of construction of facilities and provide a high level of organization of the National Turkmen Horse Holiday.

Working video conference session was continued with the report of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers E. Orazgeldiyev.

The Vice-premier reported to the Head of the State about agricultural works including the cotton sowing, care of winter crops, potato, onion, vegetable and cucurbitaceous crops, timely provision of farmers with the necessary volume of fertilizers, water, and seeds.

Having listened to the report and focused on the importance of reforms in the agricultural complex, the President of Turkmenistan highlighted that acceleration of rates of work in this direction is the main objective of the current stage. It will support the increment of volumes of agricultural production, the high salary of agricultural producers and the improvement of their life level.

In this context, the Vice-premier was ordered to provide the proper level of agricultural activities and to arrange coordinated activity of relative services and structures.
