SPECIALISTS OF TURKMENISTAN AND THE ASTRAKHAN REGION, RF DISCUSS DIALOGUE IN THE SPHERE OF EDUCATION

The representatives of the higher educational institutions in Turkmenistan and the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation discussed the priorities for cooperation during an online meeting, as well as highlighted the role of positive neutrality and open doors as a platform for multi-faceted interaction and sustainable development.

The rectors and teachers of the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications, the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics (Turkmenistan), as well as the Caspian Institute of Maritime and River Transport named after Admiral General F.M. Apraksin and Astrakhan State Technical University (Russia) attended the meeting.

Director of the Caspian Institute of Maritime and River Transport named after Admiral General F.M. Apraksin, Olga Kartashova noted that the neutrality of Turkmenistan had proved itself as an effective mechanism for solving the urgent tasks of the international agenda, strengthening friendly, good-neighborly relations between states and peoples at the global and regional levels, including in the Caspian region.

Rector of the Astrakhan State Technical University, Alexander Nevalenny, who got acquainted with the work of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport in frames of his participation in the First Caspian Economic Forum, underlined the great potential of our country as an international transport, transit and logistics center.

Alexander Nevalenny focused on the significant contribution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to strengthening cooperation and sustainable development in the Caspian region as well as in widening multi-format Turkmen-Russian dialogue.

Discussing the prospects of cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere, the meeting participants expressed mutual interest in enhancing partnerships taking into account the innovative vector of development of our country.
