WORKING VIDEO CONFERENCE SESSION: SEASONAL AGRICULTURAL WORKS AND PREPARATION TO HOLIDAYS
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session with participation of the heads of regional and capital administrations. The agenda included realization of the strategy of social and economic development of the country, seasonal agricultural works and preparation to coming holidays.
First, the Head of the State has called Mayor of Ashgabat Ya. Gylyjov who reported on fulfilment of assignments for development of the capital given earlier by the Leader of the Nation, rates of construction of facilities, which are planned to be opened on occasion of the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality of the country.
Summing up the report, the President of Turkmenistan has requested to hold the issues of support of operational, sanitary, ecological and aesthetic condition of the main city of the country under permanent control.
Having expressed discontent with delay of construction of certain facilities from the schedule, Turkmen leader ordered the Head of the capital’s administration to provide timely commissioning of these facilities paying special attention to compliance with fire safety regulations.
It is necessary to take care of preparation to heating season due to coming autumn and to carry out overhaul maintenance of heating systems of schools, kindergartens and living houses.
Further, the Head of the State called Head of Ahal Region Ya. Gurbanov who reported on the situation in the region, in particular on construction works at number of important facilities and preparation to sowing of winter crops and cotton harvest. It was also reported on preparation activity to winter season as well as on compliance with fire safety regulations.
Having noted that enforcement of control of construction of buildings and facilities, which opening is timed to the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, is a mandatory time requirement, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the Head of the region with number of specific assignments.
Having focused on timely solution of objectives in agricultural complex, the Head of the State highlighted that it is necessary to carry out sowing of crops in organized manner.
Speaking of coming cotton harvest campaign, Turkmen leader has requested to prepare all technical resources for improvement of work production of the farmers, harvesters, cotton reception facilities and other in the first turn.
Having also instructed to take proper measures for sowing of winter potato, vegetable and other crops, the President of Turkmenistan gave assignment to verify the readiness of financial establishments of the region to settlement of payments with tenants for produced yield.
The Head of the State has also drawn the attention of the head of regional administration on important of preparation to winter season, maintenance of heating systems of educational facilities and living houses, having given specific orders on this account.
Further, video conference working session was continued with the report of Head of Balkan region T. Atahalliyev who reported on works carried out in the region including construction of infrastructural facilities and measures for preparation to winter season.
In addition, it was reported about works for preparation to cotton other agricultural crops harvest expanded in the fields these days.
Having listened to the report, the President of Turkmenistan note the necessity of optimum involvement of existing potential of the region for efficient development of agricultural complex, increment of volumes of high-quality agricultural production including generous yields of winter potato, vegetables and other crops.
In this regard, the Head of the State has focused on the importance of sowing campaign of these crops strictly as per the set timeline and on provision of proper care of the fields. Relative instructions for care of the beetroot springs have been given to the Head of the region.
Speaking of the necessity of integrated approach to solution of set objectives and importance of control of preparation to winter crop sowing campaign and cotton harvest, the President has ordered to carry out these activities on high organizational level, having provided coordinated work of relative structures. In particular, the assignment to prepare agricultural equipment and provide timely settlement of payments with famers has been given.
In addition, the head of the region received instructions to carry out relevant works for heating systems as well as refurbishment in schools, kindergartens and living houses. Special attention has been focused on important of permanent control of strict compliance with fire safety regulations.
After, the Head of the State called Head of Dashoguz Region N. Nazarmyradov who reported on the situation in the region, rates of construction of number of important facilities, preparation to sowing of winter wheat and cotton harvest campaign.
Having listened to the report, the Head of the State demanded the Head of the region to carry out all seasonal agricultural works on organized level. Timely settlement of payments with farmers for produced crops by financial establishments the region remains one of the main requirements.
The Head of the region was instructed to take proper measures for care of rice fields in strict compliance with set agricultural standards for receiving of good yield of this important crop.
Speaking of importance of permanent monitoring of construction works in the region, the President ordered to provide control of quality and timely commissioning of social and industrial facilities in the region, course of preparation to autumn and winter seasona and provision of fire safety.
Further, working session was continued with the report of Head of Lebap Velayat Sh. Amangeldiyev about works in the region.
Having listened to the report and focused on the main objectives of industrial sector of the region, the President of Turkmenistan ordered to arrange coordinated activity of all structures involved in preparation to cotton harvest and sowing of winter crops.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has noted importance of care of rice fields in accordance with agricultural technical standards, having requested to hold all works aimed at provision of food abundance of the country under strict control.
Production of good yield of winter potato, vegetable and other agricultural crops is also among the utmost objectives, the President said, having requested to take measures for sowing according to the schedule and proper care of the crops.
The Head of the State has ordered to provide high quality and timely commissioning of facilities, which are under construction in the region, compliance of fire safety regulations and thorough preparation to autumn and winter season.
Head of Mary Region D. Annaberdiyev has reported on the situation in the region including on course of works at construction sites of social facilities. The report on current agricultural and technical works at the fields has been presented.
Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has highlighted the necessity to activate works in agricultural complex and requested to make all conditions for organized start and successful conduct of coming campaign according to the set schedule.
Turkmen leader noted that issues of provision of farmers with high-quality seeds, irrigation water, timely settlement of payments have to be held under unremitting control in the region and in all over the country in general.
Having highlighted the necessity to increase the field for sowing of winter potato, vegetables and other crops, the Head of the State requested to provide high production of sugar beet.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov continued that special attention has to be paid to proper work of municipal services due to coming winter season. Compliance with fire safety regulation has to be under strict control.
Summing up the reports presented at the session, Turkmen leader addressed heads of the regions with assignments for organization of all planned agricultural works on qualitative level in strict compliance with agricultural and technical standards.
Having noted that issues of comprehensive provision of cotton harvest campaign and sowing of winter crops with relevant technical resources have to be under close attention, the President ordered to provide entire complex of measures for agricultural activities on time and to take care of protection of produced yield beforehand.
Special attention has to be paid to solution of the main objectives outlined in the Programme of social and economic development of the regions, the Head of the State said, having highlighted that taken fundamental measure are aimed directly at enhancement of potential of the regions and steadfast improvement of life level of the population.
