THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN INSPECTS PROJECTS OF RECREATION ZONE AT THE BANK OF ALTYN KÖL LAKE AND CONSTRUCTION SITES OF THE CAPITAL
During working trip around the capital, Turkmen leader has inspected the projects of development of new recreation zone made at the bank of Altyn köl Lake located in Bagtiyarlyk district of Ashgabat.
For a short period, this picturesque place in the northern part of the capital has changed beyond recognition. As it was informed, the first complex of facilities with necessary conditions for comfortable recreation of residents and guests of Ashgabat including children has been opened last June with participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
In this regard, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdiliyev has presented projects, which allow having visual image of perspectives of further development of new recreation zone, to the Head of Turkmenistan for review.
Thus, projects of comfortable cottage complexes with all amenities, which are distinguished with original design and configuration and presenting original architectural ensembles, has been prepared. Comfortable two-story cottages, children and sport grounds, outdoor swimming pools and aqua parks, other relative facilities will be at disposal of people.
At the same time, it is planned to build administrative office, medical, shopping and service centres, other relevant facilities as well as necessary engineering, technical and road infrastructure.
Having studied in details presented projects and drawings, the Head of the State expressed interest in the main parameters of new constructions, having noted that it is necessary to take into account all aspects including local landscape, with which future facilities have to match, during the formation of modern recreation infrastructure.
Picturesque natural views, conditions for interesting and active leisure, favourable ecological environment provide big attractiveness of this part of the capital for citizens and guests.
Having made number of specific remarks and recommendations on the projects, the President focused on high quality of construction works and thorough selection of used materials, their compliance with such properties as longevity, strength, eco-friendliness and aesthetic aspect.
Speaking of development of surrounding territory, the Head of the State noted importance to take into consideration character features of local landscape during formation of green zones and parks, to apply innovative developments and technologies of landscape design and gave number of instructions to the Vice-premier and head of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
It was also requested that national private construction company have to start the construction of the 17th phase at the bank of Altyn köl Lake upon completion of works on implementation of the projects of the 16th phase of the capital development.
New recreation zone made in the northern part of Turkmen capital has to be in full harmony with architectural image of Ashgabat city planned to be built, the President said, having requested to think over these subjects thoroughly.
Having continued working trip, the Head of the State went to Congress Centre, which is under construction in the southern part of Ashgabat. Upon arrival, representative of French Bouygues Bâtiment International, which is contractor n this project, has reported on the situation on this important facility. Projects of design and interiors of the facility have been presented to the Head of the State for review.
Having studied the projects, the President focused on the course of works, having highlighted the necessity of provision of their quality, completion of construction as per the schedule and on development of surrounding territory.
Speaking of provision of the complex with digital technologies, Turkmen leader has focused on systematic approach to creation of all conditions for fruitful work and high organizational level of mass events in the Centre. Having given relative assignments on this account, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also noted that the Congress Centre has to match original architectural ensemble of the capital.
Inspecting the construction and interior design of the building, the Head of the state went to the hall designated for forums and extended session, having expressed the interest in provision of the hall. The President has also visited high-level meeting hall and ordered to pay special attention to the provision of the hall and to optimum opportunities for conduct of important events and efficient work of personnel in general.
Further, the Head of the State went to the centre of the city where construction of two-level road intersection including tunnel and pedestrian crossings as well as original construction in the centre of the crossroad are under construction at the intersection of S. Turkmenbashy and A. Niyazov avenues.
Having expressed interest in situation and rates of works, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that construction of such facilities has been dictated by increment of number of vehicles in the capital and heavy traffic. Bridges and transport intersections built in Ashgabat in the last years allowed significantly reducing the load on the main roads and optimizing traffic.
The Head of the State highlighted importance of active involvement of advanced achievements in this sphere, innovative engineering and designing solutions, application of high-quality construction, decoration and other materials in implementation of the projects of modernization of road and transport infrastructure.
Having pointed out the necessity of proper development of surrounding territory, the Head of the State noted that new engineering facility has to merge into architectural ensemble of this part of the city. It is also necessary to pay special attention to operational characteristics and details of decoration.
Continuing the subject and having noted that original construction would be located in the centre of road intersection, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave specific assignments to relative officials. Having highlighted that level of social and economic development of the country depends on thoughtful solution of set objective on improvement of road transport and communication system, the Head of the State requested to provide timely completion of works at the facility, which has to meet international standards by all parameters.
After, the President went to new Diwan Hotel to inspect the situation at construction site. On his way, the Head of the state has focused on support of cleanness on proper level in this part of the city and exterior decoration of the buildings located in this place.
Today, Ashgabat is recognized centre of regional and global coopeation, which provides the necessity to make all conditions for hosting of big international events and deserving reception of foreign guests and tourists. Speaking of this, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted importance of attraction of best practice and latest developments to national hotel business in order to implement its significant potential.
Having noted that special and bright national colours have to be used in exterior and interior decoration of profile facilities, which would give good opportunity to foreign guests to learn about rich culture of Turkmen nation, the President of the country gave relative instructions on this account.
During construction of the hotel, special attention has to be paid to provision of high quality of works, harmonization of traditions of national architecture in the building and modern achievements in architectural sphere, the Head of the State said, having highlighted the necessity of innovative approaches to implementation of various infrastructural projects.
In the end of the working trip, the Head of the State pointed out the importance of steadfast implementation of expanded urban construction programme, coordinated activity of life support systems of the city.
Having highlighted again that making of optimum conditions for life of people iis the main priority of expanded changes in the capital and in the country in general, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished success in solution of set objectives and left the place of event.
