HOTHOUSES FOR CULTIVATION OF BANANAS AND CITRIC FRUITS TO BE BUILT IN AHAL AND MARY REGIONS

Draft Projects of construction of hothouses for cultivation of bananas and citric fruits have been developed. Vice-premier Chary Gylyjov informed about this to the Head of the State at the session of the Government.

It was informed that it is proposed to build modern hothouses for cultivation of bananas and citric fruits in Kaahka District, Ahal Region and Vekulbazar Disrtrict, Mary Region.

According to the projects, the hothouses will be provided with innovative equipment using modern irrigation methods. Taking into account the existing proactive, it is planned to carry out tests for cultivation of bananas, tangerines, oranges and other citric fruits.

In this regard, it was noted that entrepreneurship makes significant input to expansion of import substitution and enhancement of export potential of the country, development of competitive productions. Having approved the projects of construction of import substitutive production facilities for cultivation of bananas and citric fruits, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that it is necessary to study the demand of external markets developing nest practices in the sphere of international trade and marketing.
