ROUND TABLE SESSION OF SCIENTISTS ON OCCASION OF THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF TURKMENISTAN’S NEUTRALITY IS HELD IN TURKEY
The Embassy of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Turkey has organized video conference session on occasion of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality on December 4, 2020.
Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Turkey I. Amanliyev, General Consul in Istanbul M. Seiytmammedov, Professors of Ankara University Abduallah Gundogdy and Berdy Sariyev, Professor of Kyrykkale University Muhammed Savac Kafkasyaly, Professor of Instabul University Nurcan Guder, Professor of Konya Technical University Allaguly Gurbanliyev, Secretary General of the Trade and Industrial Chamber of the Organizaition of Economci Cooperation Adem Kula, President of Turkmen – Turkish Friendship Association Hussein Ucel, Deputy Head of Sahipkyran Center of Strategic Studies Yesurhan Tas, international representatives of TURKSOY, Atawatan Türkmenistan, TRT and Anatoly Agency took part in the meeting.
The conference was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality and events in Turkmenistan and in foreign countries on this occasion as well as to achievements of Turkmenistan in different spheres for the years of independence.
The round table was dedicated to historical importance of the policy of neutrality of Turkmenistan, its role in strengthening of international and regional stability as well as cooperation with the United Nations and its specialized agencies in provision of global peace and sustainable development in Turkmenistan.
In their speeches, the participants have discussed the importance of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan in international relations, the role of the principle of neutrality in development of modern world and complex international affairs, measures undertaken for achievement of neutrality, noted the importance of provision of peace, security and sustainable development on national, regional and global levels as well as the effect of neutrality on regional and global development. They have also noted that policy of permanent neutrality has allowed Turkmenistan achieving big success in political, social and economic, cultural and humanitarian sphere and reaching new heights.
