Issues of Turkmen-Emirati cooperation in the energy sector discussed in Dubai

In the framework of the participation of the delegation of Turkmenistan in the World Governments Summit 2026 in Dubai, on February 3, 2026, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, held a meeting in Dubai with the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates and Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.

During the talks, the sides emphasized the constructive nature of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates in the gas sector.

The parties reviewed the progress of ongoing projects and discussed potential areas of cooperation aimed at further expanding the partnership.

The sides agreed to continue efforts to develop and strengthen cooperation through regular meetings and consultations between representatives of the two countries to ensure consistent interaction in priority areas.
