Meeting at the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Abu Dhabi

On July 17, 2024, at the Embassy of Kuwait in Abu Dhabi, a meeting took place between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the UAE, Serdar Garajayev, and the Ambassador of Kuwait, Jamal Al-Ghunaim. The parties discussed the current development of relations between the countries in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and humanitarian areas.

The main topic of discussion was the participation of the Leadership of the State of Kuwait in the International Forum of Heads of State and Government dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, which will be held in October 2024 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Ambassador Garajayev requested to expedite a positive response to the invitations from the esteemed President of Turkmenistan.

The organization of the second meeting of political consultations at the level of Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs between the two countries in September 2024 in Kuwait was also discussed. The parties emphasized the importance of regular contacts and consultations to strengthen bilateral relations.
