Meeting between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan and the Director General of «Al Etihad» News Center

On May 7, 2026, a meeting was held at the headquarters of «Abu Dhabi Media» between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Bayram Bayramov, and the CEO of «Al Etihad» News Center, Dr. Hamad Al-Kaabi.

The meeting was dedicated to the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the information and media sphere. The parties conducted a comprehensive review of the opportunities for establishing direct institutional ties between the leading media organizations of Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates. Special attention was paid to the necessity of creating a formal legal framework for partnership.

During the conversation, the Ambassador shared information about the 2026 year motto, «Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Purposeful Heavenly Horses», and its role in the country's cultural and social life.

The participants reaffirmed their mutual readiness to support regular information exchange and professional dialogue.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the commitment to further strengthen the constructive partnership in the media field was confirmed to enhance the presence of bilateral topics in the information space.
