Ambassador of Turkmenistan in the UAE meets Managing Director of the World Governments Summit Organisation

On 30 July 2026, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Bayram Bayramov, held a meeting with Mr. Mohamed Alsharhan, Managing Director of the World Governments Summit Organisation.

During the conversation, the two sides noted the successful holding of the World Governments Summit 2026, the participation of the delegation of Turkmenistan therein, as well as the initiatives put forward by the Turkmen side, which were subsequently endorsed by the General Assembly of the United Nations.

The prospects for expanding cooperation between the two sides were also discussed, along with possible thematic areas in the fields of neutrality, sustainable development, transport and connectivity.

Particular attention was given to the implementation of the 2023 Memorandum of Understanding on the exchange of experience in the field of public administration, as well as to the participation of Turkmen specialists in UAE programmes in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
