A ROUND TABLE DEDICATED TO THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE PERMANENT NEUTRALITY OF TURKMENISTAN WAS HELD BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITIES OF TURKMENISTAN AND ROMANIA

On November 12, 2020, with the assistance of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania, a round table was held in the format of a videoconference between the International University of Humanities and Development and the University "1 Decembrie 1918" in Alba Iulia, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan.

The round table in the format of a videoconference was attended from the Romanian side by the Rector of the University, who is also Senator of the Parliament of Romania Valer-Daniel Breaz, teachers and students of this university, and from the Turkmen side: Vice-Rector of the International University of Humanities and Development N.Shikhlyev, as well as teachers and students of the university.

 Representatives of the Turkmen side devoted their speeches to the history of Turkmenistan's neutral status, the country's foreign policy achievements over 25 years of permanent positive neutrality and the importance of the positive nature of the Turkmen model of neutrality in ensuring peace, security and sustainable development on an international scale.

The leaders of the Romanian university began their speeches with warm congratulations on the 25th anniversary of the neutral status of Turkmenistan and focused their attention on the development of not only educational projects, but also joint scientific research, exchange of students, teachers and researchers within the framework of the Erasmus Mobility Program (Erasmus +) ".
