GERMAN DIPLOMAT HELD AN ONLINE LESSON ON THE TOPIC "ENVIRONMENTAL DIPLOMACY IN THE POLICY OF NEUTRALITY OF TURKMENISTAN"
Last week, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Turkmenistan, Nighthart Höffer-Wissing, held an online lesson on the topic "Environmental diplomacy in the policy of neutrality of Turkmenistan."
This lesson was attended by students and faculty of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov and the International Oil and Gas University.
During the lesson, it was emphasized that, based on peaceful and respectable relations, the foreign policy and diplomacy of the Turkmen state are successfully developing in various directions and are strengthening their positions in the system of international relations.
The foreign policy pursued by Turkmenistan aimed at the establishment of universal environmental well-being is an important instrument for achieving the goals of sustainable development. Having achieved a favorable ecological state in itself, Turkmenistan actively participates in international events aimed at uniting the efforts of the world community to create normal living conditions on Earth.
The participants of the lesson exchanged views and proposals on issues of Turkmen-German relations, on the importance of joint actions in the field of ecology, as well as on the role of environmental diplomacy of Turkmenistan.
