ONLINE CONCERT OF THE TURKMEN-AUSTRIAN ORCHESTRA "GALKYNYSH" TOOK PLACE IN ASHGABAT AND VIENNA
On December 4, 2020, a concert was held in the building of the National Music and Drama Theater named after Makhtumkuli. The Ministry of Culture, with the strong support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Austria, prepared an international action dedicated to the 25th anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan, which underlined the importance of the humanitarian component in the foreign policy the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
At the Ashgabat concert venue, Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Mr. Atageldi Shamuradov delivered a solemn speech, congratulating the founder and president of the Turkmen-Austrian society Neda Berger on the 65th anniversary of Austrian neutrality, which was celebrated in Austria this year.
In this regard, Mrs. Neda Berger thanked the Turkmen side for the fruitful cooperation and congratulated the Leader of the nation and the Turkmen people on behalf of the Austrians on the upcoming National - International Day of Neutrality.
Musical compositions by composers Johann Strauss, Wolfgang Mozart, Nury Khalmamedov and Redzhep Redzhepov formed the basis of the online concert.
