ARCHITECTURAL RELEASES IN THE CAPITAL AND REGIONS OF THE COUNTRY
The opening ceremony of Ashgabat Art Carpet Facility has been held in the capital on December 8. The event, which was timed to the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, has highlighted the role of this status of the Motherland in development of the industry, which production is well-known in the world market.
Heads and representatives of the State Association Türkmenhaly, city administration, public organizations and mass media, cultural personnel and art masters took part in the opening ceremony. The celebration atmosphere was highlighted by performance of artist groups.
During their speeches, the participants of the ceremony highlighted big personal contribution of the Head of the State to protection of national and global cultural heritage, in which Turkmen carpet is a part of.
Institution of Turkmen Carpet Holiday in our country, which is widely observed on the last Sunday of May, was highlighted among examples of special attitude of Turkmen people to its national heritage. International Carpet exhibition is held in the country annually.
Opening of National Turkmen Carpet Museum, which unique exhibits were described in his books by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is among these examples. Occupying one of the most modern and beautiful buildings in the capital, the museum is a true treasury of hundreds of priceless rarities of national art as well as a scientific center.
Turkmen carpets were awarded with numerous prizes at international fairs and exhibitions of Paris and Montreal, Leipzig and Brussels, Geneva and Frankfurt.
Work of the World Turkmen Handmade Carpet Connoisseur Association, which members include national and foreign manufacturers of Turkmen carpets, entrepreneurs, owners of private collections, specialists and scientists who study Turkmen carpet making craft, is very important in the aspect of international partnership.
The fact of inclusion of Turkmen national carpet art to the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Human Heritage in 2019 indicates the success of work carried out in this direction.
The participants have also highlighted the importance of activity of the State Türkmenhaly Association, which is the main supplier of famous Turkmen handmade wool carpets to the world market. The Türkmenhaly State Association unites 8 carpet making facilities located in all regions of Turkmenistan.
Infrastructure of the industry has been modernized modernized actively in the last years. It is worth to mention that new production facilities are opened taking into account use of eco-friendly technologies, which is a mandatory requirement of Head of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to all construction sites of the country.
It is indicated by Ashgabat Handmade Art Carpet Facility, which was built by specialists of the Ruhabatgurluşyk Trust on Kemine Street at the place of an old factory, which was built in 1959 – 1960 and opened on December 8.
Total area of new two-store building of the facility is 5,000 square meters. The complex includes production facility, warehouse for raw material and readymade production, number of engineering and technical infrastructure and supporting facilities.
The ground floor of the central building accommodates carpet shop and the first floor has a museum, workshops, conference hall and administrative offices. The facility also has a laboratory for dying of threads. The opening of the facility has created 200 additional work places.
The carpet museum of the facility presents the facts about the history of the facility, its production, samples of raw material used in production. The exposition includes ancient carpet products like small carets, prey mats, bags as well as tools used in carpet production, works of modern masters, which enhance the glory of the masters of past centuries.
Books of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov dedicated to carpet production, which have deep content and lavish illustrations, are on the honored place.
Same like other carpet factories, new facility will make classic Turkmen carpets together with ornamental, thematic carpets, carpet portrays and souvenirs.
Spacious well-lit production premises of the facility are equipped with air conditioning, heating and ventilation systems. Shower, locker rooms and canteen are built for personnel of the factory.
During the opening ceremony, the best construction personnel were awarded with valuable presents.
The personnel of the facility have addressed Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with congratulations on coming holiday – the anniversary of the Motherland’s neutrality, having expressed sincere gratitude for care and attention to development of carpet industry and making of all conditions for work and creativity.

The opening ceremony of the facility for production of dry construction mixtures and plasterboards, which was built under the State Program of production of import substitutive goods approved by the President of the country, has been held in Trukmenbashy district on the threshold of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality.
New facility of construction sphere was built by Ak Gaýa Private Entity, which is a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, in Akdash settlement.
A calcite, which is produced in mine pit located nearby, is the main material for production. After crushing and sieving, it goes to the workshop provided with relative technological equipment procured from Turkey, Spain, China and other countries.
The production process is automated and controlled by operators. The facility has a laboratory for quality control of production, compressor stations, power substation, readymade production packing section, and warehouse. Several dozens of work places with proper work conditions have been opened.
The celebration atmosphere of the opening ceremony was emphasized by performance dance and song groups of the region. The best construction personnel has received valuable gifts.
The participants have expressed deep gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for permanent attention to stimulation of private entrepreneurship and all-inclusive care of provision of deserved life of Turkmen people.

Residents of Mary have received an excellent present on the threshold of the 25th anniversary of neutrality of the country. The opening ceremony of new residential buildings has taken place in the city.
From early morning, representatives of regional and district administrations as well as honored elders, youth, numerous residents have gathered on decorated territory of new facilities. Art groups enhanced celebration atmosphere with their music and dance compositions.
The participants of the ceremony expressed gratitude to the Head of the State for the attention paid to the formation of modern social and economic infrastructure in the regions as an important factor of the people’s wealth.
Architectural ensemble of the buildings, which were erected along Gorkut-ata Street in regional administrative center, has been supplemented with three 4-store residential buildings with 88 apartments.
During construction, specialists of Mary Municipal Construction and Maintenance Department used modern construction and decorating materials taking into account the requirements of Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to national construction companies. The best personnel of the department has received valuable gifts.
It is worth to mention that the buildings have been constructed on shared basis at the request and attraction of investment of the citizens to implementation of big urban development projects.
