TO REPLENISH NATURAL RESOURCES
The Individual Enterprise "Ak durna" breeds a number of species of cyprinoid fishes, including common carp, silver carp and grass carp. They are bred in artificial reservoirs, where the fish breeding technology is strictly observed.
All necessary conditions for breeding 40-50 tons of fish every year yare created at the pond farm located on five-hectare territory in S.A. Niyazov etrap. There are five incubators, laboratories equipped with modern specialized equipment, and eight swimming pools. Every year, part of the fish is released into their natural habitat - various reservoirs of the Dashoguz velayat.
The Individual Enterprise "Ak durna" stands as a successful example of the privatization of a former state-owned enterprise. Due to its own flotilla of 23 motor boats and an industrial zone with smoking and freezing shops, today, this is the largest private structure specializing in fishing and fish farming in the north of Turkmenistan.
