Turkmenistan’s Participation in the 30th Council Meeting of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA)
The 30th Meeting of the Council of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) was held from 30 to 31 October 2025 in Abu Dhabi, gathering representatives of over 80 countries, including ministers, ambassadors and heads of energy institutions. The Council serves as one of IRENA’s main governing bodies, ensuring balanced participation of both developed and developing countries and fostering dialogue on global renewable energy cooperation.
Turkmenistan was represented by Mr. Bayram Bayramov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates.
During the sessions, participants emphasized the need for stronger collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of clean energy and the development of innovative technologies.
The presence of Turkmenistan at this high-level event reaffirmed the country’s commitment to sustainable energy development and active participation in international initiatives under IRENA’s framework. Turkmenistan continues to strengthen cooperation in renewable energy and supports global efforts towards a greener and more secure energy future.
